Luke Walton has a new job. At least until the lockout is over. The Lakers forward will be an assistant coach with the Memphis Tigers. The hiring is pending approval by the school and the Tennessee Board of Regents.
Walton would join former NBA player Damon Stoudamire on head coach Josh Pastner’s coaching staff.
At least he’s exploring post career options now. One upside to the lockout.
