The Lakers are in trouble. That’s pretty evident. Being down 0-2 on your HOME FLOOR pretty much sums up what we’re dealing with.
After blowing the lead in the 4th quarter in game 1 Monday night, the Lakers come out in Game 2 and lose by 12. Can the Lakers com back and win game 3? Absolutely! But it is looking a little bleak for the series as a whole. Let’s list the problems as I see them:
- Going inside works. Bynum needs to touch the ball more.
- Pau is playing like trash. I don’t know what’s going on with him but he’s not fully engaged in the playoffs.
- DIRK… can’t stop him. Guess he’s out to show that soft label doesn’t fit anymore
- Kobe can’t will the team to win anymore. Too many injuries, the mind is willing but the body is weak.
I’m ride or die with the Lakers but damn, when it feels like you’re closer to death it makes it hard to find the bright spots.
Oh and Artest, of course he went rogue last night and closelined JJ Barea. Got ejected with seconds left in the 4th quarter. Suspension coming? Yeah, more than likely, SMH.
