We know Kobe Bryant is a world citizen, making it a point to travel all over the globe every off-season. This summer has seen Kobe make stops in China, Italy, Paris, Brazil and the Philippines. For his final trip abroad, before the Lakers open training camp at the end of September. Kobe is headed over to Abu Dhabi and Dubai for the “Kobe Bryant Health & Fitness Weekend” in Support of Diabetes Awareness.
While in Dubai, Kobe will be coaching Team Black Mamba which features rapper Soulja Boy… :blank stare: Yeah, I have no idea how that idea was put together. He wouldn’t have been my fifth choice of celebrity feature but maybe he has a huge fan base in Dubai.
Kobe will then private jet it back to LA – in 7 hours because he’ll be flying against the timezones – to be back for the opening of Lakers training camp. Of course he’s not quite ready to hit the hardwood, but soon!
