Kobe Bryant Has 3rd Consecutive 40 Point Game

As other players around the league are breaking down with injuries and still getting adjusted to the shortened NBA season. Kobe Bryant (whose playing with a wrist injury) is flourishing. Friday night against the Cleveland Cavaliers Mamba dropped his third consecutive 40 point game- scoring 42 points. At 33 years-old, Bryant is third in NBA history with 110 40-point games, trailing only Wilt Chamberlain and Michael Jordan.

Ready for more numbers? Kobe has scored at least 30 points in the last 7 of 8 games played. And the best part of all of this, the Lakers are winning. The Lakers record is 9-4 and have won 8 straight at home. And did I mention Kobe says the wrist is starting to feel better?

Last summer following up Mamba’s knee procedure in Germany, I stated that I expected to see a rejuvenated Kobe when the season finally began. I expect to see tons of athletes making their way overseas to see if KB’s doctor can help them find the fountain of youth that Kobe seems to have sipped from. Tonight, the battle of LA goes down as the Lakers face off against the Clippers. Yes, I’m conflicted but I win either way.

What you should NEVER do, is bet against Kobe Bryant. He’s always got an answer.
