It hasn’t even been 24 hours since Kobe Bryant tore his Achilles tendon ending his 17th season with the Lakers. Kobe appeared teary-eyed on Friday night following the game when he spoke to the press, not the usual cocksure Mamba that we’ve become used to. But at 3:30 AM, Kobe took to Facebook to “vent,” running through a range of emotions in the post but ending it with the assurance that the Kobe Bryant saga hasn’t come to an end. His words, “Guess I’ll be Coach Vino for the rest of the season.”
Check out Kobe’s Facebook status update:
Of course many jocks, celebs, etc. added their feelings via Twitter Friday night, check out a few

Terrible that Kobe got injured. The game will really miss a Giant. If anyone can respond, I believe its him. True Story. #NBA

Howard, Gasol, Blake, Metta all tried to find words to describe their collective feeling seeing Kobe go down. “Sad” may be the best.
