So far Kobe Bryant’s return to the court has been underwhelming outside of the “welcome back” theatrics. But that’s to be expected, back playing eight months after tearing an Achilles is remarkable. The Lakers are still working on their rhythm with Kobe back in the line up. In his second game back, Kobe dunked. Nothing incredible but, a good sign for the future.
The Lakers lost this one to the Suns, 114-108. Kobe was the Lakers leading scorer with 20 points. The slow start coupled with guard play – Suns Eric Bledsoe was hot, Steve Blake wasn’t- is what killed the Lakers.
Up next for the Lakers, Friday against the Thunder at Oklahoma City.
