This has been the week of the last second shot at Staples Center. Monday Derek Fisher hit a last second 3 to seal the win for the Lakers over the Mavericks. Wednesday it was Chauncey Billups with the game winning 3 for the Clippers over the Mavericks…again.
Friday night at Staples it was the Timberwolves vs. the Clippers. This time, the buzzer beat would not be launched from the home team. Mr. double-double himself, Kevin Love hit a deep 3 from the top of the 3 to give the T-Wolves the win. 101-98.
Love is from LA and attended UCLA. Makes you almost want to give him a pass for breaking the Clipps heart. The Clippers are currently 4th in the west behind the Thunder, Nuggets and Spurs. The Lakers are 7th in case you were curious.
