Spurs head coach Gregg Popavich is a notoriously difficult sideline interview. NBA analyst Jalen Rose accomplished a huge feat Wednesday night in his first stint as a sideline reporter by getting Pop to laugh and make a joke.

Current NBA analyst Avery Johnson is apart of the ESPN broadcast team and a former player of Coach Popavich’s. Jalen wanted to know how Johnson’s jersey was retired with such average numbers as a member of the Spurs.

 

Bill Simmons and Mike Trico were super proud of Jalen.
