Seems as if there were quite a few secret knee surgeries happening over the summer involving New York Knicks players. Guard Iman Shumpert has been the subject of trade speculation over the past few days, now comes word that Shumpert had left knee surgery over the summer.
According to New York Daily News, Shumpert had arthroscopic surgery on his left knee last July, Amaré Stoudemire also had an undisclosed knee surgery last summer also. The Knicks have been trying to package a deal with Shumpert, Amaré and possibly Raymond Felton. It’s unknown if news of the knee surgery has made teams skittish.
Iman seems to be taking all the chatter in stride.
