Last season the expectations for the Houston Rockets were at least the semi-conference finals, but a shot from Blazers Damian Lillard blocked that. This year, the Rockets weren’t taking those chances.
Behind the strong play of James Harden, Dwight Howard and Josh Smith, the Rockets sent the Dallas Mavericks fishing with a 103-94 win. It’s the first time Rockets have been out of the first round since 2009.
Of course they’re team tweet-and-delete. So it disappeared soon after, with an apology taking its place.
