Do you remember “Tag Team” from back in the 90’s? Well they’re back… maybe just for one night but the Memphis Grizzlies had the duo perform their 1993 hit “Whomp there it is” at halftime Thursday night.

 

Not to be confused with 95 South’s “Whoot There it is”… Yeah, the 90’s were kinda confusing at moments. “Point blank, Gin juice I drank…”

I guess it worked because the Grizz won in overtime, 98-95! Why Tag Team? I believe it’s the song the Grizz play at end of games when they win…
