Final Team USA roster announced

Selections have been made for the Team USA. This year’s roster consists of LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul, Deron Williams, Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, Kevin Love, Tyson Chandler, Blake Griffin, James Harden and Andre Iguodala.

Of course video from a few of the practices has made it’s way to the internet. Check out this Blake Griffin dunk.

The one concern is the lack of size on Team USA. Tyson Chandler is the only true center on the roster. Injuries to Dwight Howard and Chris Bosh obviously hampered that area. DeMarcus “Boogie” Cousins worked out with Team USA but USA Basketball president said Cousins has a lot of growing up to do.

“Show respect to players, and you get respect back,” Colangelo said. “He needs to mature as a person, as a player if he’s going to have an outstanding NBA career. So before there’s discussion about him being part of our program, he has a lot of building to do…

“He has a lot of growing up to do.”
