Dwyane Wade was officially awarded custody of his two sons (Zaire and Zion) on Friday after a lengthy and ugly custody battle with ex-wife Siohvaughn Wade.
Dwyane received a standing ovation in the Heat locker room on Saturday when he made the announcement to his teammates. The boys are expected to start school on Monday with Siohvaughn receiving “regular parenting time” on alternating weekends in Miami, as well as several other times during the year, including Mother’s Day.
Take note ladies, the tides are turning. Think through your actions especially when acting “on behalf of a child”. Courts are not automatically handing the kids and the funds over to the female.
