Byron Scott Thinks Some Lakers Would Shoot Him In The Back

Lakers head coach Byron Scott developed a reputation as a coach that often rubs his players the wrong way, back when he coached the New Jersey Nets. Looks as if that problem could be rearing its head again, with Byron Scott making a few eyebrow raising comments recently.

Scott recently said Nick Young might not have what it takes to play for the Lakers next season, he’s called several of the current team “soft,” and now this:

“I got a sense of a whole lot of them I wouldn’t want to be in a fox hole with,” Scott said after Monday’s practice. “I think they’d end up shooting me in the back. So I’ve got a pretty good sense of the guys that I think are going to be around, that we will build around, build together in this process and go through it.”

Wow, Scott is anticipating treason huh. At 20-56, I’d imagine nobody is happy. 7 days until the season ends, like Nick Van Exel said “1,2’3 Cancun.”
