The first day of March Madness is in the books. If you’re like a bunch of people, you’ve already balled up your bracket and are using it for an intense game of trash-ket ball. But that disappointment doesn’t come close to the emotions that surged through the Arizona State Sun Devils bench who lost a heart breaker to the Texas Longhorns.
Texas big man Cameron Ridley hit a buzzer beater at the end of regulation, to give the No. 7 seed Longhorns an 87-85 victory over No. 10 seeded Arizona State.
Up next for the Longhorns, Midwest Region’s No. 2 seed Michigan Wolverines… and then there were 32.
