LA is definitely in the building during the 2012 London Olympic games. LA native Allyson Felix, whose also a USC graduate, took the Gold medal in the women’s 200m race on Wednesday. Felix won with a time of 21.88 seconds.

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce of Jamaica took the silver with a time of 22.09, and Gardena’s Carmelita Jeter took the bronze (22.14). Jeter also attended my alma matter, Cal State Dominguez Hills.
