Congratulations to Derek Jeter!! Jeter not only reached 3,000 hits today (on a home run) he is also the first Yankee to accomplish this feat and the 28th player in baseball history.
At 37, Jeter is the first player to do it at Yankee stadium (the old one or the new version) and the fourth youngest player.
