Jay Z’s 40/40 club was the spot Wednesday night as he hosted the launch party for NBA 2K13 – remember he’s the executive producer of the soundtrack. On hand for the soiree, cover guys Derrick Rose and Kevin Durant, Knicks Iman Shumpert and JR Smith, Nets Kris Humphries and Brook Lopez, rappers, Nas and Meek Mill plus many more.
Earlier in the day, Jay Z hopped on Twitter – something he rarely does – to express his excitement that Barclays Center is open and posted the photo below.
The first of Jay’s three concerts to officially open Barclays begin Friday night.
