King James wins his third MVP award. A source confirmed that James will be presented with the award on Sunday before the Heat host Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semi-finals against the Indiana Pacers. This will be the third time LeBron has taken home the honor in the past four seasons.
The view is that because of injuries to Dwight Howard and Derrick Rose, the Miami Heat have a cake walk to the finals. But to ignore the stats James put up this season, averaging 27.1 points, 7.9 rebounds, 6.2 assists and almost two steals a game is taking advantage of how he makes the spectacular look regular.
Cakewalk or not, it’s going to be hard to stop that.
