Jemele Hill’s Trump Tweets Has ESPN Tip Toeing

ESPN recently distanced themselves from The SIX host Jemele Hill‘s Twitter comments where she referred to Donald Trump as a bigot and white supremacist.

Hill’s tweets were the result of a conversation with users about singer Kid Rock, who is considering a run for the U.S. Senate in Michigan.

Hill tweeted “He loves black people so much that he pandered to racists by using a flag that unquestionably stands for dehumanizing black people,” about Kid Rock.

Which eventually turned to Trump, and Jemele went in

While ESPN says Jemele has been “talked to,” the tweets still remain.

Hill and her co-host Michael Smith have taken a great deal of “fan” heat since taking over the 6 PM SportsCenter. Accused of having a liberal and “black” agenda, Hill recently address those thoughts in an interview with The Ringer

Since ESPN came out with their statement, several journalists and personalities have come out in support of Hill including NBA analyst Reggie Miller, Dwyane Wade and Colin Kaepernick. She hasn’t tweeted since Tuesday, but was on air for The SIX

White House Press Secretary Saunders called for Hill’s job.

UPDATE: Both Jemele and ESPN have responded
