Clippers Blake Griffin has another injury to add to the mix. The forward has broken his right hand after getting into a fight with a member of the Clippers‘ equipment staff.
Griffin and Matias Testi got into an argument at a restaurant during the team’s trip to Toronto per ESPN’s Michael Eaves. The incident allegedly started while they were viewing the Clippers game against the Raptors. Blake reportedly hit the staffer – who is actually a good friend of Blake’s- inside the establishment, and then followed him outside and hit him again.
There’s no update on what caused the fight. Testi went to the hospital for his injuries.
Both he and Blake were sent home from the road trip after this incident. The NBA is reportedly investigating and Griffin could be fined. The timetable for his return is four to six weeks.
