Utah Jazz forward Gordan Hayward received a four-year-$63 million offer sheet from the Charlotte Hornets. Do you even know who Gordan Hayward is? Well his game is a key piece the Jazz’s future because they’re matching the Hornets offer. Hayward is a restricted free agent. His stats last year, 16.2 points, 5.2 assists, and 5.1 rebounds.
Chandler Parsons is another one that is benefiting from a larger salary cap. The Dallas Mavericks signed Parsons to a $45 million offer sheet on Wednesday night in the club with Mark Cuban.
The Rockets have 72 hours to match. This is probably all complicated by LeBron’s lack of movement. Where he lands could set dominoes in motion for the Rockets as far as cap space. There’s a reported pending deal with the Sixers for Jeremy Lin, and Chris Bosh might be waiting to see if LeBron is coming back to Miami.
