Newly appointed NBA Commissioner Adam Silver has set the bar extremely high in his first four months in the position. First there was his swift and decisive action with the Donald Sterling situation, and now its his kind gesture to Baylor’s Isiah Austin at the 2014 NBA draft that’s earning him more brownie points.
Silver drafted Austin to the NBA just a few short days after it was announced that the center would have to retire from playing competitive basketball because of Marfan syndrome.
