Indiana Pacers star Paul George had a coming out party during last season’s playoff run and won the NBA’s “Most Improved Player” award. Now George is cashing in on his performance. It’s being reported that the pacers and George have agreed to a five-year, $90 million max contract extension.
George has until October 31st to sign the agreement. The Pacers pushed the Heat to seven games in the Eastern conference finals last season. This summer the team made several moves to shore up their bench and ensure key players like Roy Hibbert and David West are in the fold for the next few years.
