Boxer Adrien Broner arrested for battery in Miami

Boxer Adrien Broner was arrested in Miami on Monday night and charged with misdemeanor simple battery.  Broner posted his booking info on Instagram but changed his mind and decided to delete it.

Per CBS Miami

According to Miami Beach Police, Adrien Broner, 23, and Michael Owensby, 24, were allegedly outside of Club Liv when a fight broke out. Security guards saw the fight and went over to break up the two men.

As the security guards tried to break up the fight, Broner, nicknamed “The Problem,” allegedly bit one of the guard’s forearms, according to Miami Beach Police.

The arrest comes just a day after the announcement that HBO Boxing would no longer be buying fights from “Golden Boy Promotions.” The same company that promotes Broner. Current fight record is 26-0 with 22 knockouts.
