All week there’s been a lot of trash talk between the Giants and the Jets. The outcome of Saturday’s game left the Giants on top but that didn’t end the war of words between the two teams. Giants RB, Brandon Jacobs had a few words for Jets Coach (and my Boo in my head) Rex Ryan following the game.

All season long I’ve been enamored with Giant’s Victor Cruz’s salsa dance after he scored. Today, the action that came before it is what captured my attention.
Check out this 99 yard touchdown from the wideout during the Christmas eve game against the Jets.

The New York Jets and Buffalo Bills are facing off against each other today. Bills receiver Stevie Johnson had an interesting touchdown celebration. He decided to mock Plaxico Burress shooting himself in the club.

Sunday night during the Jets vs. Patriots game, the NFL and the cast of the new Spike Lee film, Red Tails paid homage to the Tuskegee Airmen During the Sunday Night Football broadcast.
Spike Lee, Michael B. Jordan, Dule Hill, Cuba Gooding, Jr. and more were on hand at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ.

One thing I’ve always said about athletes, they have “me too” syndrome. Example, you have the new iPad, benz, chain from Jason of Beverly Hills??? ME TOOOOOO.But “me too” doesn’t only extend to gadgets, jewelry and cars, WOMEN are also an area that athletes are equally as competitive.
So when I heard Jets LB Bart Scott said that when he played for the Baltimore Ravens, they used to fight with Washington Redskin players over strippers, I wasn’t the least bit surprised:

It’s Friday and NY Jets CB Darrelle Revis is still answering questions about Monday night’s game against the Dolphins. In the game, Revis picked off a pass from Moore to Brandon Marshall and ran it back for 100-yard touchdown. In this interview with WFAN’s Mike Francesa, Darrelle clearly wasn’t interested in further discussion on the topic.

The Miami Dolphins are 0-4. Clearly some sense of urgency needs to come from inside the team. That’s one way of looking at WR Brandon Marshall’s recent statements about Monday night’s game against the New York Jets.

It seems as if the fashion world has finally realized there are female sports fans who still want to be fashionable while repping their team. (just say NO to pink jerseys) Between Knicks star, Amar’e Stoudemire and his collaborative line with Rachel Roy and ex- New York Giants legend, Carl Banks new women’s line, designers are giving women lot’s of fashion options when it comes to team pride.
For the second year in a row, the NFL’s women’s apparel line has teamed up with a group of NFL wives and daughters to showcase it’s new line with a “rivalries” theme.
