LaVar Ball Pulls Melo & Gelo From Lithuanian Team

The Ball show has returned to the United States. Per reports, LaMelo and LiAngelo Ball have quit their Lithuanian team BC Vytautas just three short months after joining the team. The reason why, LaVar Ball is allegedly upset with their treatment.

Per local journalist Donatas Urbonas, LaVar stated he is bringing his sons back home to Los Angeles because LiAngelo is dealing with an ankle injury and LaMelo was spending much of his time on the bench.

“We’re not going to waste our time no more,” Ball said.

LiAngelo’s agent has submitted paperwork for the 2018 NBA drat taking place in two months per Yahoo News. Seems like its time to come home and see how much clout the Ball name carries.

In 14 games with Vytautas, LiAngelo ranked second on the team with 12.6 points per game. He shot 41.5 percent from three-point range.

LaMelo averaged just 12.4 minutes per game in eight contests. He averaged 6.5 points and 2.4 assists but shot 26.8 percent overall (15-of-56).

LaVar also has a new business venture to tend to, his JBA league has obtained sponsorship with Wilson, and former NBA and UCLA stars Earl Watson and Ed O’Bannon are involved as an advisory board.

Tryouts began in early April in eight cities. Selected players will be flown to LA in mid-June for the start of training camp. All lodging and meals will be paid for by the JBA. The tour will start off in the U.S. over the summer and then the plan is to go international. I’m sure LaVar picked up an idea or two while spending time in Europe with the younger Ball brothers.

The Ball Family Facebook show did numbers too, the second season had 12 million viewers for episode one. So did the Vytautas games featured. Expect the JBA to have some sort of streaming deal with Facebook as well.
