NBA Fight Night: John Wall vs. Zydrunas Ilgauskas

John Wall and Zydrunas Ilgauskas (Big Z, respectful bow) had a little altercation during last night’s game. John swung first, I guess as the season winds down, less dancing and more frustration for the rookie as his first year in the NBA winds down.

JaVale McGee and Juwan Howard had a mini scuffle as well. A lot of pent up hostility going on in this Wizards vs. Heat game.

Of course the Heat won. Did you think they’d follow up a lost to the Cavs with a loss to the Wizards?!?

    The only player on Miami’s team w/old school throwback heart is Juwan. And I’ve always been a fan of his, but he’s taking his role a little too far. Initially McGee looked like he was coming to the aid of John not to antagonize anything. Then Juwan comes with the 2-hand wannabestartingsomething (We miss you MJ). C’mon J, really.

    I missed the game last night, Wiz fan (don’t judge me, lol), so I don’t know if anything led up to it or not. But the elbow/clear out move from Big Z, was minimal at best. So it does look like John over reacted, from just seeing this clip. Either way, I like what I saw. John’s far from a hot head, but definitely is not a punk. Nothing wrong with letting that be known (see slight run-in with Amare in preseason). And he’s Javale’s meal ticket, so you better have his back. LOL.

    Ahhh great points. I think John is also frustrated being on a losing team after his season last year. Juwan is who he is, Chicago at heart!! He’s earning his check!
