Jill Munroe hit up ComplexCon 2018 on behalf of EURweb where she sat in on the media panel for Creed II moderated by Terrance J, featuring the film star Michael B Jordan (Adonis Creed), the film’s director Stephen Caple Jr. Florian Munteanu who portrays Creed’s foe Viktor Drago and trainer Corey Calliet.
During the conversation, both Jordan and Caple expressed how themes of family are prominent in part two. Jordan explained, in Creed II Adonis has a child with Bianca that he now has to consider as he’s fighting for his family’s name against the son of the man who killed his father Apollo in Rocky IV.
The film also stars Sylvester Stallone, Tessa Thompson, Phylicia Rashad and Dolph Lundgren. It hits theaters on Nov. 21, 2018.
