In 1995 it was the trial of the century. Charismatic retired football star OJ Simpson was on trial for double homicide. Accused of butchering his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman.

The cast features Cuba Gooding Jr. as OJ, plus several major stars as key figures from the infamous “Trial of the Century.”
John Travolta as lead defense attorney Robert Shapiro, Courtney B. Vance as Johnny Cochran, Sarah Paulson portrays prosecutor Marcia Clark and David Schwimmer and Selma Blair are estranged spouses Robert Kardashian and Kris Jenner.
Simpson put together an all-star legal team. In addition to Shapiro and Cochran, it also included F. Lee Bailey, Alan Dershowitz, Robert Kardashian, Gerald Uelmen, Robert Blasier, and Carl E. Douglas. There were two more attorneys specializing in DNA evidence: Barry Scheck and Peter Neufeld.
At the time DNA evidence was a fairly new concept, which Cochran skillfully was able to poke holes in the prosecutions case to convince jurors that there was evidence of tampering which gave way to reasonable doubt.
