If you’ve ever taken in a game a Staples Center, you’ve seen the infamous “red coat” security team hold down the court during timeouts and post game. These guys are usually stone faced and protect the arena like the Secret service guards the President. And make no mistake, they will take people down who are in violation of the security rules. During the Lakers match up against the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday night, actor Will Ferrell took to the court as a red coat. Why? Who knows but he even ejected Shaq from Staples.
Maybe it was in violation for too many giggles with Kobe.
