Timberwolves Dante Cunningham was arrested for the second time in three days, Sunday morning. Cunningham was arrested for making terrorist threats, following his arrest last Friday for felony domestic abuse.
The forward is due in court Monday morning after being accused of choking his girlfriend during an argument.
The Timberwolves released this statement:
“The situation with Dante Cunningham is very fluid and we continue to monitor all available information. We reiterate that the Minnesota Timberwolves do not condone the behavior described in the accusations. We continue to wait for the legal process to run its course and will have further comment when appropriate.”
The 26-year-old is in his fifth NBA season and will be a free agent this summer.
