Congratulations to Jeff Green! Five years after being the 5th pick in the 2007 NBA draft, Green has graduated from Georgetown University with a degree in English an a minor in theology.

I love that athletes are going back to school and continuing their education. It also sends a message to their fans that it’s never to late to finish something you’ve started and the importance of an education, even for multi-millionaire jocks!

Next up for Jeff, working his way back into the NBA following his surgery earlier this year for an aortic aneurysm.
