Allen Iverson’s divorce from his high school sweetheart, Tawanna Iverson was finalized months ago. AI was ordered to pay Tawanna $8K a month for their five children. AI hasn’t paid up and now Tawanna has taken him back to court for the $40K he’s past due and if he’s not so inclined to do so, she wants him to be thrown in jail.
Allen just turned 38 on June 7th. If you recall during the divorce proceedings, the judge in the trial stated that he was a faulty parent who “does not know how to manage the children” and he “has been a hindrance to their spiritual and emotional growth and development.” AI is also alleged to have money issues at one point he declared he didn’t have enough money to buy a cheeseburger.
