Basketball Wives LA star Sundy Carter has been trying all season to make herself the break out star. From brawling with Draya – and ending up with her EYE as the co-star – to telling Brandi Maxiell to go take her medicine to try to get a baby, she has no problem swimming in the drama.
But the one area that Sundy want accept the responsibility for is having a baby with a married NBA player. Sundy discussed the topic of her youngest daughter’s father, former NBA player Larry Hughes in an interview with Hip Hollywood. Sundy said she “didn’t impregnate herself” and that it was a “mutual understanding.”
“When two people are adults and they have a mutual understanding, I didn’t get pregnant by myself, I didn’t impregnate myself. I won’t go deep into that. It’s not off limits but its just really irrelevant. I know what it is, I don’t need to explain myself, I don’t need to explain my story as how I got my Kennedy. It wasn’t immaculate conception and therefor I’m really strong when I speak. I’m probably getting a little loud, when I think about my 6 year old, I’m like ‘hold up we made this six year old together and we knowingly did this and this is what it is’. This is the outcome and regardless of who was lied to and whoever else was lied to, that’s not for me to judge. All I can go by is what was presented to me.
I do agree that the man needs to be responsible. He’s the one that took the vows, but when you admit you knowingly had a child with a man that was married, people are going to look at you a little different. That’s a mutual understanding too.
