Shaquille O’Neal has announced plans to run for Undersheriff in Lake County, Florida. Law enforcement has been a steady second career for Shaq since his years with the Lakers. It’ll be interesting to see if this actually becomes a reality. There is still a lawsuit pending against Shaq filed by his former personal IT associate, Shawn Darling.
Darling has accused O’Neal of using his ties to Miami Police organizations to try and frame him for several crimes, in addition to tales of stalking, threats and general unpleasantness. Surely that’s going to come up, right?
TNT analyst, Future NBA team owner and now Undersheriff, Shaq is certainly making the most of his retirement.
