Tennis star Serena Williams has never been shy about branching off into other areas of entertainment. Next up for the tennis ace, an animated feature with a tennis theme, naturally titled WimbleToad. Get it like the Grand Slam tournament she just won. How creative.
Williams will executive produce the project along with Exodus Film Group, the makers of the 2008 animated feature Igor.
The film will be about a toad named Henry and his bestfriend Lily, voiced by Serena, who are both orphans battling an evil businessman who wants to destroy their orphanage and take over the WimbleToad tournament.
Yup… Probably fun for the kiddies.
