Seahawks DE Chris Clemons ordered to pay ex-wife $500K for cheating in marriage

Ladies, I don’t see prenups as a bad thing. Think of them as a way to protect your interests as well and make sure you have a great lawyer that is prepared to counter his first offer. For example, put a cheating clause in that ups your money, if he balks at that suggestion, up your money anyway. See, win-win. The motivation behind today’s topic?

Seattle Seahawks DE Chris Clemons was ordered to give his ex-wife Veranetta $500k because he cheated.

Veranetta filed for divorce in 2010 on grounds of adultery — claiming Chris admitted to having casual sex with several women in 2009 … and would often disappear to Atlantic City at all hours of the night, returning home the next afternoon.

As part of the divorce, Veranetta demanded exclusive use of the couple’s Georgia mansion — as well as one of their cars … the Land Rover or the Bentley. On top of that, Veranetta wanted $10,000 a month in alimony for 5 years.

Neither side could agree on a settlement — so it went before a jury … which finalized the divorce last month, ordering Chris to cough up $500,000 and the Land Rover.

You pay to play. Just like females are a bonus with that lifestyle, so does funding after the fact. It’s the natural order of things! ::giggle::
