Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson is definitely in the running for best new boyfriend. Monday afternoon Russ was sending girlfriend Ciara positive vibes on Twitter, after Ciara and her ex-fiance – rapper Future – had a light-weight subliminal battle of their own.
Om Monday, Future released a snippet of his “Like I Never Left” documentary and an interview with Huffington Post. The topic of his former fianceé naturally came up with Future giving his version as to why the relationship ended. He felt she was rushing the wedding and her desire was to be an “It” couple.
Ciara was trying to rush together, Future said that he didn’t want to have a big event that would be on all of the media outlets because he just wasn’t comfortable with it. “I’m not comfortable with where I’m at in my career, I’m not comfortable about compromising, about just being the person that I am, being the man that I am,”
When Future was asked about Ciara and Russell practicing abstinence, he said God didn’t send him that message, but that the two did pray after sex. He said that made him even more attracted him to Cici.
“God told me something else. He ain’t tell me to wait. I guarantee you that,” Future said. “We prayed afterwards though. After we did it, we prayed. That’s a true story.”
Ciara caught wind of his comments and sent a couple of subtweets his way
