Rappers having beef via social media has been pretty big as of late. This summer we saw Drake take hip-hop back to his roots by dropping two tracks lighting up rapper and social media thumb thug Meek Mill.
Clearly Meek lost that battle, including his audio follow up. But just like when you were a kid, if you get beat up in a fight, you go get your big brother to handle it.
Or maybe your big brother just jumps in, because that’s what family does. Meek’s label head is Rick Ross. Rozay has a new album, “Black Market” is dropping December 4th, and he seems to be addressing Drake on behalf of Meek on the song “Color Money.”
“‘My lil homie made a million on his girl tour / We back to back and down to whack a n*gga unborn” and “So run Forrest got some shooters and they dying too / I got more money than that pussy that you signed to.”
Let’s break this down:
“My little homie made a million on his girl’s tour,”
Of course you haven’t forgot Drake’s “Back To Back” rhyme:
“You love her then you gotta get a world tour/Is that a world tour or your girl’s tour?/I know that you gotta be a thug for her/This ain’t what she meant when she told you to open up more,”
The MMG boss also made reference to Drakes “0-100” line with this reference:
“So run Forrest got some shooters and they dying too”
Drake’s line was
“I run this sh*t, they like ‘Go Forrest Run Forrest, Run Forrest, Go Forrest.’
And then he throws shots at Drake’s label chief, Baby. Ross clarified that Wayne actually might be on the album so this line wasn’t about him.

Hmmm the survey is still out on this line. According to Forbes, Baby is fifth on the list of “Hip-Hop’s richest stars, earning $150 million in 2015. That was slightly down from his $160 million, number four slot in 2014. Ross hasn’t been in the top 5 either year.
Rozay WHY are you coming for Drake? You guys used to be friends. Remember Aston Martin Music? Remember how the two of you were telling chicks to “tatt their name on them so you know it’s real?”
Plus, is it smart to go at a guy that used to date your current fiancée? Remember how popular Drake’s bathroom became for women who were visiting him to show they were IN THE BUILDING, without specifically telling with who?
I’m a Rick Ross fan, and he might be able to get at Drake with a few bars, but how can you really rock with someone who says Kobe should have retired seven years ago.
Apparently Rozay doesn’t know the Lakers won back-to-back Finals with Kobe as the MVP on 2009 and 2010.
