President Obama plays pick-up with former Bulls Scottie Pippen & Randy Brown [photos]

Prior to being re-elected to a second term, President Obama played his traditional pick up game but this time he had one of the most famous NBA wing men running with him.  Six-time NBA Champion, Scottie Pippen and former Bulls teammate Randy Brown hooped on Tuesday along with President Obama’s traditional pickup crew of Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, former Illinois treasurer Alexi Giannoulias and former body man and Duke player Reggie Love.

The game took place at Tim Grover’s Attack Athletics facility, with two teams of 10. So what type of run was it for the President?

“He played pretty hard. He got to the basket a couple of times, had a couple of good crossovers and scored,” Duncan said. “He plays real hard and he plays real smart. No one gives him any breaks out there. Everybody competes. That’s what makes it fun.”

“I thought the lanes opened up when Michael Jordan used to drive,” laughed Pippen. “I used to be like, wow. But when I saw the President drive, I thought they were bringing the whole motorcade through the lane it was so wide.”

While there wasn’t an official final score, Obama’s team won by about 20 points, per a White House pool report.

I guess that’s what you’d call Presidential Privilege.
