NBA And Players Resuming Negotiations?

Here’s something we can be a little thankful for on the eve before Thanksgiving. The NBA and the NBA trade association (that’s the players) have opened up talks again. The goal is to try and have something in place that will save the Christmas games!!!! That would be a cute way to kick off the season, right!

NBA and players resumed talks on Tuesday to try and end the lockout before the cancellation of Christmas games, two sources told Y! Sports.

Talks were expected to continue today, sources said, and one league source tells Y!: “We should know more by later this evening.”

While these talks really pertain to the settling the court case (the two cases have been consolidated and are in the  Minnesota court system) The talks are between lawyers from both sides. No one knows the starting point of these conversations but the hope is that the offer wasn’t reset to 47% BRI that Stern threatened.

Come on guys, you can do it!! Save Christmas! I can see the NBA teasers now with players, coaches and owners saying how grateful they are to have the NBA back all while wearing Santa hats and reindeer horns.
