Mavericks Dirk Nowitzki and wife Jessica welcome baby girl

Congratulations go out to Dallas Mavericks star Dirk Nowitzki and his wife Jessica Olssom. The couple welcomed their first child, a girl on Wednesday, July 24th. The couple is extremely private so of course the news broke through Dirk’s father in German newspaper.

“I am proud to be a grandfather for the third time,” Nowitzki’s father, Jörg, told the paper. Nowitzki’s sister, Silke, has two children.

Jessica had a cute, private shower thrown by friends in Dallas last May.
