If you ever wanted the opportunity to own a little slice of Kobe Bryant, here’s your chance. Kobe’s mother, Pamela Bryant is auctioning off various items from Kobe’s basketball history via Goldin Auctions next month. Wondering what’s up for grabs? His high school freshman uniform when he wore #24 before switching later to 33. Various practice jerseys from high school, a special version of his 2000 NBA championship ring he paid the Lakers organization to make for his mom, a 1996 high school state championship ring, his 1996 High School McDonald’s All American ring and even his surfboard-shaped “Teen’s Choice” Award from Nickelodeon.
Is this like an NBA parent’s version of a garage sale? I wonder why she’s getting rid of it. Sure it might be taking up room but you want to keep the ring your son had made for you, right?
The interesting thing. The site listed two NBA All-Star Game rings. This is the first I’ve heard of the NBA giving out rings for All-Star.
