Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love is out right now as he recovers from a broken hand. But that doesn’t mean he’s not “in the game”. Love teamed up with Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald to show support for Breast Cancer awareness month. Love allowed Fitzgerald to play barber all to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer via Love’s “Spread Love” program:
The two are spreading love and awareness in an effort to raise money for breast cancer. Through Kevin’s community outreach program “SpreadLove”, he is supporting Bright Pink and Larry is supporting American Cancer Society/ Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center. The two will donate 25 cents per share/like/view up to a total of $250,000! Please SpreadLove and Spread the Word!!
Larry’s mother Carol passed away from breast cancer in 2003 after battling it for five years.
The NFL will also use pink penalty flags as it continues it’s annual October support of breast cancer awareness month with pink touches throughout the league.
