JR Smith Has Career Night In Game 1 Of Eastern Conference Finals [Video]
JR Smith was on fire Wednesday night in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Cleveland Cavs and the Atlanta Hawks.
JR set a Cavs playoff record landing eight-three pointers, ending the night with a career-playoff-high of 28 points.
LeBron said in an interview with Rachel Nichols that he approached dealing with the younger Cavs players with patience. Similar to the way he deals with his children. JR will be 30 in September- about 9 months younger than LeBron – but in postgame, LeBron was asked how he responded when Cavs management told him they were making a trade for Smith, LeBron once again responded in daddy-mode:
“Get him here and I’ll take care of it. I got him.”
