UFC champ Jon Jones was officially named as a suspect in a hit-and-run accident that left a pregnant woman injured in New Mexico.

Jones allegedly fled the scene of a hit-and-run accident where he ran a red light and slammed into the woman’s car Sunday morning in Albuquerque, NM.

Witnesses, including an off-duty officer, reported that a man believed to be Jon Jones ran from the scene.  Police searched the car and found items belonging to Jones plus marijuana and a marijuana pipe.

One witness says Jones got out of his silver Buick and ran into the hills — before slouching over and darting back to the car to grab a “large handful of cash.”

A warrant was issued for Jones’ arrest for felony hit and run due to the severity of the victim’s injuries.
