John Wall, Victor Cruz, Chris Duhon And Others In New York Nightclub During A Shooting

Incredible nightlife is one of the benefits of the Jock lifestyle. But sometimes, the other element that’s also in attendance can make things difficult for EVERYONE. Juliet Supper club in New York was the scene early Tuesday morning where a random club goer opened fire inside the venue.

In attendance, several NFL and NBA stars; Branden Albert of the Kansas City Chiefs; John Wall of the Washington Wizards; Carlos Boozer of the Chicago Bulls; Russell Westbrook of the Oklahoma City Thunder; former New York Knick Chris Duhon, who now plays for the Orlando Magic and Giants WR Victor Cruz.

None of the athletes were directly involved with the gunman or victims. They were simply enjoying an evening out. ProBasketball Talk has details on what went down:

The gunman, clad in a white leather jacket, crashed the crowded party at the Juliet Supper Club on W. 21st St. by squeezing off five shots shortly before 2:30 a.m., police said….

In Tuesday’s bloodshed, the killer is thought to have fired the shots in a bid to get even after a woman was bumped on the dance floor — but her relationship to the gunman was not clear, the sources said.

So scary. The craziest thing, it reminds you of the Plaxico Burress situation and why he felt he needed to have a gun with him. I hope security at Juliet tightens up, the Chelsea club is a popular one. Probably not after this incident though.
