Giants Osi Umenyiora & Leila Lopes are engaged

Congratulations are in order for New York Giant (maybe, he’s indicated he probably won’t be returning to the team) Osi Umenyiora and the 2011 Miss Universe Leila Lopes. The two recently vacationed in Europe where he shared the news slip in a tweet. Check the details of the proposal:

The British-born defensive end popped the question to his girlfriend over dinner in Atlanta last week. We’re told they’re now planning for a 2014 wedding. The happy couple was introduced to each other by publicist and New York-based Coleman Entertainment Group president BJ Coleman during Fashion Week last year, with their first date at Philippe taking place shortly after.

I love LOVE. Can’t wait to peep the ring because I love diamonds too!
