Former NBA Player Darius Miles Arrested For Attempting To Bring Loaded Firearm Onto Flight

I think it’s a standard rule at most airports that passengers aren’t allowed to bring weapons (especially loaded weapons) on a flight. Former NBA player Darius Miles must have forgotten that bringing a firearm on a plane is a crime.

Miles (29) was arrested Wednesday afternoon at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport for allegedly trying to bring a loaded firearm through security. It’s not known if the gun was in his checked luggage or a carry-on. Miles was booked on suspicion of unlawful use of a weapon.

DMiles has been out of the league since 2009. The last team he played for was Memphis Grizzlies. In 2010 the forward received an invite to the Charlotte Bobcats training camp but didn’t make the final roster.
Miles was drafted 3rd overall by the L.A. Clippers in the 2000 draft.
